How does the PhotoVu digital frame mount on the wall?
Please see our 19″ digital picture frame mounting template or our 22″ digital picture frame mounting template available on the support section of our website, which details the exact mounting and power options available for the PhotoVu digital picture frame. Each PhotoVu ships with a complete cardboard mounting template to aid in installation.
You will see on the mounting template that each PhotoVu digital picture frame has two metal-hinged, picture frame hanging attachment points (D-rings) (19″ models) or internal key-hole slots (22″ models) to support normal landscape mounting options. Currently, there is no portrait mounting option available. We highly recommend that at least one of these attachment points be secured into a wood stud if installing over drywall or plaster board. For 19″ models, the two landscape D-ring hangers are set at 16″ apart to accommodate standard wood framing wall studs. For 22″ models the mounting keyholes are 13″ apart. The PhotoVu is first hung on its D-ring hooks or internal keyholes in the back of the unit, then after securely on the wall, the power cord is attached. In both models, all power cords are hidden from external view.
