Using Google Picasa, there are two ways to work with the PhotoVu: 1) Using your exported Picasa Folders or Albums to display your digital photos or 2) Through the folder hierarchy and structure on your hard drive. This Quick Start section for Google Picasa explains using your exported Picasa Folders or Albums. For details on using your hard drive folders, please go to the Photo Locations, Albums help section. Now, you just need to perform three easy
steps to get started. |
| 1) Share Your Picasa Exports Folder Your Picasa Exports folder and digital photos need to be made accessible on the PC where they are stored. This process is commonly referred to as "sharing" a folder. Once this folder is shared, your exported albums, folders, and photos will be available to the PhotoVu. |
|
| 2) Setup and Manage Your PhotoVu Photo Directory Using the Picasa Exports shared folder above, you will create a Photo Directory on the PhotoVu. This will allow you to tell the PhotoVu where your Picasa exported albums and folders are located and which photos to access. Your PhotoVu will automatically search this Photo Directory for photos and include them in the Photo Show. |
|
| 3) Play a PhotoVu Photo Show Just start the Photo Show! The Photo Show has many customizable options that we will get into later. |
