Using Photo Directories

The Photo Locations, Directories menu allows you to manage your Photo Directories.  Photo Directories are created from shared folders on your computer that have digital photos stored in them and can be accessed over a network.  Your computer can be running the following operating systems: Windows®, Macintosh®, Linux®, and Unix®.

Within the Photo Locations, Directories menu, you can:

  1. Add Photo DIrectories
  2. Make Photo Directories Active or Inactive
  3. Remove Inactive Photo Directories

As discussed in the Getting Started - Quick Start section in the Main Online Help, you first need to share one or more folders on the computers connected to your network.  If you have not created shared folders on your computer, please go the Quick Start help section now.  Sharing folders is very specific to each operating system.  For additional information, please contact your operating system manufacturer.
